XII Thorns is a blackened deathcore band from the southern Netherlands, formed by Erik, Roel, Tomm, Louis, and Davy who previously played in bands like Prospect and ForgettoForgive. Known for blending the brutality of black and death metal with the precision of modern deathcore, the band draws inspiration from paranormal horror and dark storytelling.

Their debut EP WREATH (2023) introduced a chilling, immersive sound, followed by the haunting single De Kelderbode. In October 2024, they released Exsilium, further cementing their place in the underground metal circuit. A new EP is in expected in the fall of  2025.
